It’s just not possible, at least not with the CS4 version. You can open the GIF, but the opening dialog will surprisingly tell you that it will only open one frame and you will loose the rest. Well, thanks. A workaround:
- Open the GIF with QuickTime 7
- Save it as a Quicktime movie (.mov), choose “self-contained” as option
- Open the .mov with Photoshop
Now Photoshop opens the file including all its frames and you can proceed the resizing or any other action with it. This could still need some more automation, so this might be a nice Automator, Actions opportunity. Let me know if you developed something or if you have another process in place!
